Photo Submission Call
Artists & Their Pets
We’re inviting artists to be part of an upcoming volume of The Turquoise Iris Journal with a special photo feature: artists with their pets.
This submission is simple and personal. We’re looking for one photo of you with your pet. The image should reflect the creative and honest spirit of The Journal. Studio shots, at-home moments, or outdoor settings are all welcome as long as you and your pet are clearly visible together.
We can’t wait to see the companionship, creativity, and connection that show up through these images. Thank you for sharing a piece of your world with us!
Submissions open through April 15, 2026.
Submission Guidelines
Please review the details below before submitting:
- One photo per artist
- You must be in the photo with your pet
- Pets of all kinds are welcome
- Photo should be clear, well-lit, and in focus
- Vertical or horizontal images are both acceptable
- Image types should be .jpg or .png
By submitting, you confirm that you own the rights to the image and grant permission for it to be published in The Turquoise Iris Journal and related digital and social media promotion.
Publication notes
- Not all submissions may be selected
- Photos may be cropped for layout purposes
- No guarantee of inclusion
