Unlike traditional magazines, The Turquoise Iris Journal is an independent, ad-free quarterly publication designed to become part of your creative library. Each volume is filled with original artist features, thoughtful tutorials, inspiring studios, personal essays, and meaningful conversations that readers return to long after the season has passed.
We believe every artist has something valuable to share, whether you’re exhibiting nationally, teaching workshops, building a creative business, or simply following the work your heart keeps calling you to make.

Our contributors come from many backgrounds, mediums, and stages of their creative journey.
We’re especially interested in stories that help readers:

Whether your work is rooted in painting, mixed media, fiber arts, ceramics, photography, woodworking, paper arts, or another creative discipline, we’d love to learn more about you.
