Porsha Chalmers
Curator
Porsha is a multi-passionate artist, writer, and curator whose work dances between soulful storytelling and sustainable creation. With a deep reverence for legacy, memory, and transformation, she curates with the heart of a healer and the eye of a maker. Her creative practice blends upcycled textiles, handmade jewelry, and ritual-inspired objects, inviting viewers into a world where art honors both the past and the present.
A Marine Corps veteran turned wellness practitioner and founder of The Silver Bohemian. Porsha weaves her lived experience into everything she touches—whether capturing nature through her lens, creating intention-infused pieces, or curating work that stirs something sacred. Her approach is rooted in intuition, connection, and a deep love for the stories art can hold.
She’s currently living her best life alongside her sidekick Jim, their beloved cats, and a close-knit circle of family. When not in the studio or behind the scenes curating, you’ll likely find her wandering the foothills of the Georgia Appalachians—chasing beauty, gathering inspiration, and soaking in the wonder of it all.

The Beauty of Reclaimed Materials – What Sustainability Teaches Us About Art
